Transport performed
The project we are talking about today was very difficult, a previous technical feasibility and structural study was carried out, in this way to be able to give the team of drivers the maximum information about the turns that would be encountered during the journey.
For the load, it had to be placed on top of the axle truck to be able to make the turns of the loader exit until the incorporation to the highway, this caused us to drive at 4,750 mm high throughout the journey to the port of Vigo.
For the exit and incorporation to the highway, 1 driver and 3 pilot cars had to be sent in order to be able to warn the rest of the users in a correct way, and at no time would there be any risky maneuvers.
We were transporting a cryogenic tank for LNG 26 meters long by 4 meters high and 55 tons.
Upon arrival at the port of Vigo, we would like to thank Grúas Doniz, a colleague from the area, who sent us a second pilot car to help us with the port entry maneuvers.
Finally the transport arrived at a good port, never better said, and was delivered with total success at its destination.
