Expansion of the Hospital COVID Pere Virgili in Barcelona

Transportes Angel Velasco is mainly in charge of transporting one of the Covid modules, a module measuring 15 x 4.90 x 4 meters and weighing 10 tons.
To carry it out, one of our drivers plus the pilot car used a 6x4 tractor plus a low-loader with three axles.
We collaborate and we will continue to do so until we all overcome the pandemic.
The new equipment at Parc Sanitari Pere Virgili will have a constructed area of approximately 4,000 square meters and will be completed before the end of the year.
It will have a maximum capacity of 108 beds in intensive care units. The parameterized design and its execution with a high content of off-site manufacturing allows the design and construction process to be carried out in just four months. Each UCI floor has a capacity for between 24 and 36 beds, occupying an area of 972 square meters.
The modules transported to achieve this rapid assembly were made with 6x2 tractors and lowered gondola, with modules of 15 x 4.90 x 4.00 and 15 tons.
